Hi All,
can you please let me know , i am trying to IMPORT label files form
AOT >> Label files >> Create from file
i have already created more than 50 label ids under GDJ label file. i am worried.
Please let me know how i will resolve?
Normal process for handling labels:
1) Developers create labels in development system (with AX label editor)
2) Model (including code and labels) is moved to test system
3) Model or modelstore is moved from test to prod system
There's no need to manually import label files in any step of the process.
So, we're wondering what exactly you are doing and how you ended up in situation where you need to import the label file in some system.
Martin,
i have already explained what i did...
you said...
But... I wonder what you're doing. You shouldn't normally get into this situation, therefore you're likely doing a wrong thing. Please don't do anything destructive and give us an explanation.
kindly let me know the right process please. if you know i am doing wrong then you also knows the right answer.
please expalin
Label IDs without labels don't look very useful.
Let's wait for the explanation of what you're doing...
yes,
So it's imported succesfully, even though you saw the error message?

it's little bit diff with your point mentioned...
point no 2,3
please suggect me
Just putting the files to the AOS directory wouldn't import them to modelstore.
A solution for this problem may be deleting the files from AOS and doing the import.

yes Nikoloas,
i have already checked,
all label ids are there...
I would just try again. And also check if the labels were actually imported.
Or, instead of importing, just put the files directly in the AOS directory:
1) Shut down AOS
2) Copy your label files directly in AOS directory where the label files are (something like: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\Application\Appl\Standard)
3) Delete all .ali and .alc files from the directory
4) Start AOS
