I am trying to use Export to Excel from one instance of D365 and Data Import to transfer records to another. The mappings are all correct. However, after starting the import, the import log shows that the job was successful BUT there were 0 successes and 0 failures. Why is this? How do I sucessfully import the records?

Hi,
If you are exporting existing data in an excel and tryoing to import that then it won't work because when you export to excel, it export the guid and while importing it updates thethe records based on the guid. It is not for data import.
If you want to import data then you need to download the data template, populate it with data and then use that.
You can also try saving the excel to csv and then import that, you will have to manually map the field when using csv. This will also work.
However if you fields/ customizations are same across invironment then the easiest way is to use the Data Export Tool available in Xrm Toolbox.
