Hi,
Is it possible to have 2 version (published, draft) in the same language of a web page in the same environment?
Thanks and have a nice day!
Hi Jona,
Your workaround is the closest to what I can imagine.
Hi ,
Sure! The business requirement is to allow the content managers to create another version of the page wtih "unlaunched" content. This happens usually when a product has a new version to be launched, and new contents shouldn't be available in the public. Content managers need to revise the same page on the same url as a draft, and then when the product launch, we also launch this page version to public.
If in case this kind of scenario might not be available, could you help to provide the best workaround? I have some workarounds in my mind like, creating a "dummy" page on a different url. Example, the original page I want to edit is /page-one and in order to leverage existing page, I would just create /page-one-draft and put it as "draft" so it won't be available in the public. During launch date, I would just change the path url to /page-one and mark it as "published" and probably deactivate the original page. I'm not sure if this is a good way though. Recommendations are open! Feel free to advise.
Thanks a lot!
Hi Jona,
I'm afraid based on what you described , the answer is no. Can you explain your business need exactly and why would you need that?
