Hello,
My keystrokes weren't working... I could use the mouse ctrl+v to input data. I closed the application and now I can't get logged in, because the keystrokes aren't recognized there and I'm assuming Ctrl+V is disabled for login.
Does anyone have a resolution?
I can't get back in to do anything now. I've contacted support... Thanks
Sign out of the remote desktop environment. (Make certain to sign out, not just disconnect.) Once you are completely signed out, sign in again. Once back at your remote desktop, launch GP again.
If it still isn't working, you'll need to reach out to your Remote Desktop support team.
Yes it just stopped working. The ctrl-v worked inside of GP, but the keystrokes didn't... I closed the application and in an attempt to reset. Now I can't get back in because keystrokes still don't work and I assume the ctrl-v is disabled for entering credentials. Ctrl-v/c/x works in all other enviroments... also right clicking the mouse. I'm in a remote desktop enviroment.
The copy/paste function was working. The keystrokes weren't... I closed the application and now I can't get back in. Can't manually enter my credentials and the copy/paste function I assume is disabled for entering credentials.
Did this just "stop" working?
Does ctrl-v work in other applications in the same environment?
Are you in a terminal server/remote desktop environment?
Can you right-click and paste? Does your keyboard work for other things?
So, the keystrokes in Dynamics GP were working, then suddenly stopped, and nothing has changed on the environment?
I can't say I've seen that........
Here's a couple of articles about copy/paste functionality that may or may not help:

If not, maybe others in the Community have run into this...........
Thanks
