Absence and Leave

Hi,

Can we store employee wise leave allocated and after that can we trace the leave balance in Absence and leave management in AX 2012 R3. I have checked in employee master at HR module but I didn't found any option there.

We need to store somewhere different types of leave like Sick, Earned etc. and after that employee will apply the leave. At certain point of time we need to check leave balance by each employee, may be in report or in Inquiry window.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Santosh

    Hi Santosh,

You can use the absence management as a base for the registration of leave.

have a look at the help related to this subject here: technet.microsoft.com/.../aa571521.aspx

There is no option to register the number of allowed days for a worker, so a balance is not supported in standard AX. This needs to be customized.

You can have absence balances by using pay types in time and attendance and register and maintain it through that, but it does require that you configure it properly. You can actually configure it to only handle absence management.

There are multiple ways to register absence in AX:

Do you use some type of time and attendance solution today? Maybe it can be replaced or integrated to AX?

    Hi Santosh,

As Mr.André Arnaud de Calavon  said, currently we cannot track employee leave balance. We can only track the absence information.
