Hi there! 

We wanna try to use this Microsoft product. But before start to use we new answers to next list of questions:

  • Can we upload to Social Listening our own data from different systems. For example, we have BIG database that contains information about articles since 1990... And we wanna upload all information to the Social Listening. To get beautiful charts )
  • Can we connect different sources to Social Listening, it could be local services like "facebook". We are interesting Russian social network (VK.COM)
  • If we can connect different sources, next question will be - how many sources can we connect? Can we connect 2000 sites or more?
  • How Social Listening will work with Russian and Ukrainian languages? If we wanna work with Twitter\Facebook etc... 

Please provide me any information you have!

    Hi Oana. Can you help me understand how it is that I can see recent posts in dashboards and such in Dynamics CRM when integrated with MSL, but I cannot see any of the Posts in the Social Activities entity and why I cannot see any of the posters Social Profiles in CRM either?

    Unfortunately it is not possible to upload your own data to MSE.

    You could send us your feedback and make an enhancement request here: https://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions If the suggestion is voted up, it might be considered by the product team for introduction in future releases.

    The ability to add other sources is on the roadmap and should be introduced in future versions.

    Great questions @Sergii. I wish I had the answers. I have a few more of my own, so I will start watching this thread for any help.

    My question is, can I further classify individual posters via their contact records when the posts are imported from MSL?

    I have downloaded the sample MVC app and will see what clues are in there, but the write up of what it is supposed to do doesn't really give me a clear picture. I'll let you know what I figure out.
