Built-in View / Data Entity for Invoices ?

Hello D365 FO Experts,

I'm looking for built-in or standard View / Data Entity which contains all customer invoices, with header and lines (items) information ? I needed to build some "external" analysis report from these information.

Is there such object in D365 FO, or we should create custom to have that ? by joining D365 FO - CustInvoiceJour & CustInvoiceTrans ? Can anyone suggest what object I should use best ?

Built-in View / Data Entity for Invoices ?

Hey,

As far as I know there is no such entity. Question is also what kind of invoices you are refering to? "Only" Sales invoices, or also Free Text invoice and\or Project invoices? Because they are related to different tables, i.e. entities if they even exist.

Sales Invoice

CustInvoiceJour - Headers

CustInvoiceTrans - Lines

Free text invoices

CustInvoiceTable - Headers

CustInvoiceLine - Lines

Project invoices

ProjInvoiceJour - Headers

ProjInvoiceEmpl - Lines for employee transactions, there is also ProjInvoiceItem, ProjInvoiceRevenue, ProjInvoice. So the kind of transaction is split once again in a seperate table.

You wont find an entity having all these tables, in case you are looking for "all" invoices. It may work with Electronic reporting, in case that all are based on the same model.

Hi Ken,
For CustTrans (Customer transactions), you need to consider creating a custom entity for exporting the data.
For CustInvoiceJour and CustInvoiceTrans, you can evaluate the following standard entities for use:
-CustInvoiceJournalHeaderEntity (Customer invoice journal header)

-CustInvoiceJournalLineEntity (Customer invoice journal line)

Hi all,

Thanks. I actually try to close this thread, with no luck.

May I know how exactly to close it ? Every time I click the Make reply check box, it always processing with no end. And this bugs are happening for months since this new platform introduce.

Nevertheless, kindly help to mark Adis answer.

Hi,

You cannot really "close" it, unless you mean by marking an reply as answered. This bug happened also to me, but trying in 1-2 days again fixed the issue.
