Posted on by 12
Hi all ,

We have custom and standart financial dimnesions on our movement journal lines added. It has been implemented OData Excel integration as below on DimensionCombinationEntity and DimensionSetEntity.

when publishing division custom financial dimension through excel with new lookup value , excel cell becomes blank and it publishes blank value? Has anyone encountered such issues? And any clue how to resolve it?

    Hi,
Can you use other users with higher privileges to export? It may be that the exported excel cell is blank due to a permission issue. Have you ever try to directly export entity from data management?
These fields are not exported, are they virtual fields? If so, you must first add them to the staging table, and if you don't, the data can't be exported to staging, so these two fields are not included in the exported file. For more details, refer to this link: Solved: Data entity virtual fields are not exported (dynamics.com).
If they're not a virtual field, are they added to the Grid? If not, you need to personalize the grid, add these two fields before exporting. For more details, refer to this link: Some custom data entity fields not shown in while data export in excel from form and if i directly data entity export from data management the specific fields are shown successfully (dynamics.com).
    Best regards,
    Kevin
