Random legal entity defaulted when ordering from punch out catalouge

I have 3 legal entities in my application.
I’m using purchase requisition, external catalogues with punch out.
All users are employed in all 3 companies.

When creating a requisition and using the punch out the legal entity is defaulted but could be for a different legal entity than from where I’m standing/starting. How can that be?
This only happens when using external catalogs. If I just add a line in the requisition the correct legal entity (the same company that I’m in at that moment)  is defaulted

I can always select the correct legal entity and get my catalogue, but it feels like its selecting a random company when creating a line from external catalogue.
Any one that have experienced the same, or a similar, issue?

In this case the issue is created by standard code: HCMWorkerHelper have a method that looks for the oldest record of employments (that can be another legal entity than the one you currently are in) and change the value (legal entity) and presents that catalog as standard.

    Found while debugging the process.

Random legal entity defaulted when ordering from punch out catalouge
    Hi Sanna,

I don't see this issue; when I click External catalogs, in the dialogue box that appears, the Buying legal entity is set to the current legal entity (even if my user's default legal entity is different).

External catalogs for punchout depend on active purchasing policies for the buying legal entities or receiving operating unit, and the policies can allow or prevent access to specific procurement categories. If the legal entity is defaulting to a different one than the one you’re currently in, it could be due to the configuration of these purchasing policies and the mapping of the external catalogs to the procurement categories. Check purchasing policies, external catalog configurations and that the users have correct permissions (to the catalogs for the LE they are accessing).
