Is there a way to create a RTM segment if a contact is on a subscription/marketing list? Do marketing list even exist in RTM? I only know how to create one in OBM.
So, if I want to send a newsletter to everyone on ABC subscription list, how do I do that in RTM? Is it even possible?

Hi,
You can't use subscription/marketing list directly in Real-time marketing.
But you can create a segment with contacts in selected subscription list in Outbound marketing and then use this segment in real-time marketing journey.
Please refer to my steps.
Add query block
Select Marketing list and chose contact.
Now use this segment to create real-time journey.

currently it is not possible to leverage the subscription list functionality in RTM. However, it is possible to kinda use OBM/RTM in a hybrid state. Leverage OBM forms with subscription lists from OBM and leverage the "Outbound subscription center in RTM feature" and use RTM triggers in journeys to trigger on OBM form submission. In addition you can create segments of marketing list memberships to leverage OBM subscription list members in RTM journeys.
As of the release wave features subscription lists will be probably introduced in JUL2023 as of the name "topics" in RTM.
