Hi,

I want to add the charges in the transfer order.

When I explored I found a tab named "CHARGES" in the transfer order line entry.

When I clicked to enter data, I found that the NEW option is been disabled

Please advise how to enable or does this require any parameter setting

Hi Sriram,

Please let us know the version of AX you are using.

In AX 2012 R3 CU 13, I am unable to see the Charges button. Has there been any customization for this or has any vertical solution been implemented?

Hi Gunjan,

This is a std for indian localization of ax2012 r3

If you have Ax Demo version, change the site to INMF and in the transfer order you can see this

No this is not the same. As it seems to be similar, that needs more customization.

This is std feature available in Ax2012 R3 and could not use

May be this is for indian localisation

Hi Sriram,

I did change it to INMF and check. I checked the form design as well. Couldn't find this functionality.

Hi Sriram,

Suppose if you are doing a stock transfer then could you please check if the "Active stock transfer" check box is enabled under inventory management setup .

Hi Mohan

The "active stock transfer " is enabled. When I select the charges button, a new Table Opens for entering the charges. In that table the "NEW " button is not enabled. Hence I could not able to create any record

Hi Sriram,

At present , the adding charges in the transfer order is not a part of the core system . But we would like to know how you wanted to manage the charges here, this will help us to understand the customer requirement, your feedback will be shared to the core team .

Hi Mohan,

The scenario is as follows

1. During the intercompany stock transfer , I need to add the charges of the packing and Transport seperately

2. Later the same to be apportioned to the items in the transfer order

3.The Charges to be accounted to the receipt warehouse ledger accounts to the respective accounts

The feature should be similar to Charges in the Sale Order / Purchase Order as the transfer order acts as a SO / PO between the warehouses
