Default No. Series for Batch Number

In the test company (Cronus), when creating a new batch ... the No. Series is automatically assigned. Although, it is not the same in the live company which I am working on.

Please take into consideration that I have already filled out the GJN no. series on the general ledger setup. Though, when creating a new batch, the no. series is empty.

    Check on Gen. Journal Template if the no. series is assigned that will carry over to the gen. journal batch.

    Agreed with Suresh Kulla

    Default No. Series Can Be Attached to the Gen. Journal Temple so all the Batches you create inside the template will automatically allocate the default no. series.

    You have two option.

    1. Manually Adding the No Series you created to the Batch You want in the Same Gen. Journal Template.

    2. if you need Automatically Assign Then Create another Gen. Journal Template and for type General and Assign your new number series.

    When you go with the second option when you try to create new Journal system will prompt you to select the template 1st and then inside whatever the batch you have all will have same number series.
