Greetings!
We are using D365 CRM online and have Partner Portal configured for our external users. These users reside in CRM as contacts.
We need to provide a feature for our external users to send emails from Partner Portal and these details should appear in Opportunity's timeline.
- We have configured a mail box in CRM say no-reply@abc.com and used that to send the emails (this would be the from email address)
- The mail can be sent to one or more persons in To, CC
- The email can attach one or more attachments.
In the above method, the recipients would see the mail sent from no-reply@abc.com instead of the actual sender (partner portal user) who sent this email.
Is there a way to set the from address to the partner portal user so that the recipients would clearly know who had sent this email?
