Hi All,

I want to set a 1-to-1 relation between an operation and a resource.

So every time a new route line for an item and/or production is added and I select an operation this operation will automatically set the related resource requirement.

this is what I tried to do:

Create an item code : All and set up the Resource requirement from there. but an error popsup after selecting the Resource (tip: the resources and operations have the same name)

Do you know what is going on? and how can I manage to set this up?

may thanks beforehand!

    Hi Nestor,

The error message is mentioning virtual companies. Have you shared tables via table collections and did setup virtual companies?

    Hi André,

No idea about table collections and/or virtual companies. haven't touch that. I am just migrating data from one company to another (but just main tables, parameters and groups) trying to "make a copy" to build another legal entity. I dont know if that has something to do.

But at least I haven't mess with virtual/table collections as far as I know? How to check/fix that?

    Hi Nestor,

The error might come due to missing related records. If you check the coding, it will try to get the company ID from some tables and if this is empty or part of a virtual company, this error is thrown. In your scenario, the company ID might be missing due to missing records.

I would suggest to check if you need to copy data from the next tables as well:

    WrkCtrPCRouteOperationActivity

    WrkCtrProdRouteActivity

    WrkCtrProjForecastEmplActivity

    WrkCtrRouteOprActivity

    Hi André,

After looking all tables related to RouteOpr I found out as you said some reference where missing.

so I deleted all records with Item = "ALL" and Route= "ALL" and created back again by hand.

So the references where populated from new a fresh by AX.

now the operations are related 1-to-1 to the Resource  automatically as it should :)

    thanks for the help!
