We have CRM 2013 on 2 Servers and both are installed on Windows Server 2012R2. The ADFS for IFD is also installed on Windows Server 2012r2. CRM 2013 cannot run on 2019 as per the MS Document, but I want to know if I can upgrade the ADFS Server OS to 2019 and will CRM IFD feature work..
Our AD's are on OS 2012r2 but we will upgrade them soon to 2019...
Thanks,
Sheldon
Well according to this article support.microsoft.com/.../compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2013, ADFS on Windows 2019 is not listed
And this article for Dynamics CRM 2016, support.microsoft.com/.../compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2016 specifically states that ADFS on Windows 2016 is not compatible.
So I think that the answer is no it isn't going to work, given that Windows 2016 isn't supported even for a later version of CRM than you have.
And this page, docs.microsoft.com/.../software-requirements-for-microsoft-dynamics-365-server also doesn't list Windows 2019 for anything.
Of course, you might find that it does work if you try it.
Hello,
Refer this Article for CRM 2016:

I hope it helps,Thanks. Please mark as verified if the answer is helpful. Welcome to join hot discussions in Dynamics 365
