Community Portal - Beginners help!

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi, we are trying out this in Sandbox environment.  We want to allow Public (anonymous) access to a bunch of Knowledge Articles, but then have further articles restricted to Authenticated users (using associated Product).  Associating articles to Product(s) works a treat for authenticated users, and includes articles with no associated Product (what we want) but anonymous users are seeing nothing more than the Category in the portal - no vision of non product related articles.  Any guidance out there?  Thanks

Dean, thanks for response.  I will learn to phrase my questions better in future!  Basically, associating articles to Products does not work for us.  We are now taking the CAL approach which seems to have solved our issue.  Thanks again.
