Visual Studio Code Extensions not working

I have about 20 extensions installed but, for some reason, they now seem to have stopped working. For example, Bracket Pair Colorizer; Prettier Formatter and CSS Peek. I can't identify any reason why they may have stopped working and I even tried uninstalling VSC and re-installing but the problem remains.

Any ideas please?
