Just have a question raised by our auditors and I'm not sure how this works in Dynamics AX. Any ideas how I'm able to differentiate between the two?

"How can one identify a journal entry that is automated vs. manual (e.g., a manual entry is one which is not automatically generated by the system)?"

Hello Nemesis,

Answering that question is not that easy as the way how you setup your system influences what one would consider as "automated" or "manual" entry. Probably the easiest way how to differentiate between both entry types is through a reference of the voucher number used. Please note that the differentiation by referring to your number sequences works only if you do not use a single number sequence for automated and manual journal entries...

Thanks Ludwig. I was able to sort this out after combing through our records. Realized that we not use a single number sequence for automated and manual journal entries
