How can I setup Orders on hold for intercompany ?

Hi All,

I already create a sales order for intercompany.

The scenario below : I got a company A and intercompany will be A1. When I will create a sales Order 123 in company A- The system will create purchase order P1 and sales order for intercompany A1 is 1234

When our customer want to hold sales order 123. I don't know how can I do it ? I see the function orders on hold on sales order 123 in company A was disable. the sales order of company A1 is enable but When I click a orders on hod It shows a message below:

Order hold is not allowed if the sales order is part of an intercompany order chain or marked for intercompany autocreation.

Hi phongqn2000,

Order holds are not supported neither direct delivery nor Intercompany.

Hold on the customer may be another way.

at customer level there are hold options, you can put the intercompnay customer on hold for delivery there

however this would put all orders on hold and not just one

Hi Mattguo,

what do you think If I will customize do not process on sales order on inter company . I will update do not process for both company

Hi phongqn2000,

When you hold the SO, the "do not process" will be marked automatically.

There are two ways i can think, one is to hold customer but as Rahul mentioned, this will hold all orders, not just this one.

Another way is to stop line on the original SO.

Dear Mattguo,

I has just checked on the system. I can stop on sales order line.

when I stop sales order line - It means when I run master planing the system don't run master planing for item stop.

Wen I change the sales order line to stop -> The status of sales order still on Open Order. I think I must customize a code when User click a button stop all sales order line -> All the sales order line will be stop and the system will change the status of sales order to Hold order
