Hi there,
Does anyone have an idea whether we can utilize EFT Payment File with JBA format (i.e., Localization feature in Japan) in USA region?
I have a client who is going to switch to D365 FO (NA-North America Version) from other system. The client is single entity and located in USA. They have a JPY bank account of Japanese bank in Japan and US$ bank account of US bank in USA. In new system (D365 FO NA), the client wants to generate EFT files for both vendors in Japan (JBA format) and domestic vendors in US (NACHA format).
In NA version of D365 FO, NACHA format is available by default as NA localization feature. I followed by the link below (Electric Reporting) and was able to import JBA format configuration to USMF (demo company tailored NA localization).

However, when clicking "run" button, the following error message pop-up and blocks further processing.
*The configuration doesn't support the country/region of the current legal entity.
So, we think customization by extension might be needed but would like to hear any other ideas if someone faces similar issues and how they resolve the issues.
Regards,
Configuration may have country region code attached to it. So you can simply create your own derived configuration without country region code or add your one. That could be all you need to do or it may rely on other country specific fields and feature and still wont work without further changes.
