Item consumption on projects

Hello,

I have created a item requirement and the parameters are below

Then the user get the pop up to get the consume item or not while posting the purchase order

But if i activate this parameters then i am not able to create purchase order directly from the item requirement.

my requirement is to have the purchase created from the item requirement and item should be consumed directly without giving user any pop up.

can someone give advice.

    Hi nsarswat,

    If I understand your requirement correctly then it can be achieved by activating both parameters that you highlighted.

    The result is that the item will be consumed once the packing slip of the purchase order is posted and that the users will not see a pop up question.

    Thanks for reply, if i enable both parameters then the create purchase order function in the item requirement is disabled, is something i am missing or there is another way to create purchase order from item requirement.

    Ah. Got your point.

    You are right.

    When you enable those parameters an item requirement is automatically created with the PO 'in the background' so to say and then directly closed with the posting of the packing slip and the consumption of the item.

    What is the process that you would like to have?

    Create the PO from an item requirement first or do you create the PO first or ...?

    Would be great if you could describe your process in more detail.
