Source not found during debugging

Hello experts,

Sometimes when debug D365 in VS, the source xpp file cannot be located automatically while some can. I understand VS was trying to look at the symbol file to get related source file. Dos it mean I need to do full compilation again if this issue happens?

Hello Acarpentier,

Yes, the symbol file contains the relationship between the assembly code and the source file. I usually find and open the expected source file in VS manually and then continue to debug, then we will come to current code instruction.

Just build the model that you are debugging. It should help.
