(AX2009) Purchase requisition workflow approval notification by email?

hi all

    we are using the purchase requisition workflow approval function, and our users can received the approval alert message by AX application.

    But we also wish to received it by email, does the purchase requisition workflow approval have notification by email function? and how to setup it?

   i have try to setup it by below action:
   Administration -> Administration Area -> User -> User options -> Notifications
   checked the option of "Send notifications as e-mail message"
   but still cannot received the message by eamil.

    please help. thanks.

    It is required they have a valid email setup under Admin>Admin area>User>User options>[general tab].

    There must also be an alert email template and emailId setup under Basic>Setup>EmailTemplates.

    After the EmailId and template is setup, you must set it under Basic>Setup>Alerts>Alert Parameters and choose the EmailId you just created.

    The code where the emails are set starts in Classes\EventNotificationWorkflow\Create.

    Are your email settings correct?  You should have a developer send a test email.  If you have closely followed my steps and verified everything is correct, then it sounds like you need a developer to find out where it's failing.
