Hello,

I would like to have drag and drop file experience for user rather then upload. I have seen this control in business central but not in F&O.

Is there a way to achieve similar thing? Does any one know if this feature is going to be available in future releases?

Hi,

I ve seen similar if not the same questions in the forums...unfortunately, MS didnt implement it, despite being a standard feature in many applications.

There is a post under Microsoft Idea that needs votes, maybe if enough people upvote it, MS will implement it.

There are also ISV solutions for this in the app source. I am not promoting any of the following solutions, just giving you directions.

E-ttach - Drag & Drop for D365 for Finance & Supply Chain

There is also a ready to implementsolution here with the code. A bit strange tbh, but you can give it a try.

What is the busniess requirement for this? Manual operations are error prone. Why not completely automate the process?
