embed Excel worksheet as iframe in D365 Contact form

Hi. I have an excel worksheet saved to Sharepoint. Is there a way to embed the contents into a Contact form in D365 for sales?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

    You cannot directly embed an Excel sheet (or show its content) in a form.

    Possible solutions are:

    • Depending on our version, you can embed a PowerApps Canvas App, which reads the data from the SharePoint Excel file and displays the content it.
    • Create an HTML web resource and use SharePoint OData APIs to read excel file's content, then show this data using an HTML/jQuery table:

    • You can also create a virtual entity in Dynamics 365, which reads data using SharePoint's OData endpoint:

    • If possible, you can also import or integrate Excel files data into CRM (create a custom entity).
