Hi,

I have a scenario where I would like to create a new project in D365 FO and would like to restict access to 3 people - say Prfoject Owner, Sales Manager and Project Controller. I would like this porject and any related info such as PO's transacations etc from other users in the entity/agency.

What would be the best way to deal with, as I cant find a granular way to restrict this.

Thanks in advanced.

    Hi Isaac,

Navneeth provided a link to my blog where I shared an XDS policy. In case you want to restrict related transactions and purchase orders, then this is also possible using XDS. For the purchase orders, you would need to think if there are POs without a project link or not. Based on that outcome, the solution direction might a bit different.

    Hi,

The XDS Framework is the way to go to restrict access to projects in D365 FO. You can add a range to the query under the Security Policies as highlighted in this article. The detailed example is mentioned in the link below.
