Run Power BI on Contoso D365 F&O VM in Azure

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has some advice how to install and run Power BI including the Contoso Dataset on the Contoso VM.. Any articles, tips, advice very welcome. Ive seen instances of Contoso demoed where it included Power BI.

I have a dataware house running in an Azure VM and the backend is SQL server. My developers in our office need to connect to the sql backend over the internet through powerbI. I have opened up the port 1433 to allow SQL connections over the internet however this is not a secure configuration. Do you guys know whats the standard setup for these scenarios. Thanks.
