Hello,

we want to send collection letters via e-mail and have successfully finished the configuration to send mails to the business e-mail addresses.

But the standard e-mail destination only allows to insert a subject to the mal, but no body.

We tried to create a e-mail template in the organization e-mail templates, but the template somehow can't be used, although we added it in the accounts receivable parameters in the Collections tab /transactions to contact/.

How can an organization e-mail template be used for the e-mail destination of a collection letter?

Email template ideally works for Workflow emails, here in print destination template wont work, unless you do custom code.

Hi Tino,

If you apply business document for collection letter, you can set subject and body from the configuration model designer in ER destination ;

thank you for your answers. Unfortunately the forum won't let me mark Ramits reply as an answer or let me reply directly to your comments.

Ramit, do you know of any examples online to solve it with custom code? Would you develop a new function for this or would you extend the standard e-mail destination functionality?

Alireza, in the screenshot it seems that the body in the ER destination can only cover one line and no html at all. Can you confirm this?

Hi Tino,

You can define the message body via the ER configuration, you can define one or several lines.
