Hi,

I am trying to look for a way to change the layout of a standard report in dynamics finance and operation. For example, I want to move data from rows to columns. Is there a function available in dynamics to do so? I am looking for a non-code solution.

The standard SSRS reports of D365 cannot be changed without development.

Depending on your requirements you can investigate if the some of the reporting needs can be solved in PowerBI instead using D365 entities.

This gives you more flexibility from a no code reporting perspective.

You will need development for Ssrs reports. Use Embeded Power BI reports or Power BI Desktop to generate a report depending to your licence. Can generate inquiry forms with development , so that users can hide columns of they want to. Also export to Excel functionalities can be user for reporting purposes. If it is GL related reports like trial balance, P&L etc., I would offer financial reports. (Management Reporter)
