Content block not editable

Hi,

I'm trying to use Content blocks in Marketing pages.

I've created two content blocks, one for an image, one for a text. The idea is to use these content blocks in a marketing page and modified by Marketing staff.

When I create the content blocks, I set the protection to off (see below).

How ever, when I insert my content block in a marketing page, I'm unable to change the text of the content block (see bellow). I've triple checked if my content block is protected or not...

Do you have any solution to be able to edit the text from a content block directly in the marketing page?

We want to create several content block and let Marketing staff to edit their content in the marketing pages.

    Hi Megan, thank you for this clarification.

    Two related questions:

    - Why is it possible to modify the picture from a content block then? The logic should be the same, shouldn't be?

    - What is the protection option in content block edition for?

    Hi Pascal,

    You cannot edit the block in the email because the re-usable content block is live.  And you cannot find the content block to add to the email unless it is live.  Unfortunately there is no way to do live editing at this time, so your users would have to stop the content block and edit in the designer.  Once they complete their edits and set the block to live again, their customized block will be available for use in the email.
