Reoccurring tasks for salespeople

Hi all

What's the best way to create recurring jobs for salespeople? For example, quarterly customer reviews.

I can create a workflow to create a task, but I can't see where to schedule it to every x months/weeks. I also can't see a way to run the workflow on all Accounts.

Is this the most suitable way of achieving what I want or should I look at Cases instead?

Olly

    Hi

You can use workflows. Following link might help you.

If you are using On-Premise then it is better to use console app and schedule it because Workflows takes resources as well

    Hi,

You can use flow for this scenario.

Please refer to this post: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/run-scheduled-tasks

    Hi OllyMUK,

I would recommend you use Power Automate (Flow) to create Recurring tasks.

    Please refer to carldesouza.com/.../

If you don't have a license for Power Automate, then you could use workflow to implement it.

    Please refer to crmtipoftheday.com/.../

    Hi,

I would recommend to create a Console Application and deploy the same using Task Scheduler. Using task scheduler, you can schedule your job at a particular internal and / or during non-business hours as well.

However, you can also use Power Automate as well for your business needs.

Hope it will help to implement your business requirement.
