Why is the Full company name showing in the SYSCompanyChooser

Good day

One of our clients have out of the blue got their 3letter dataareaid + full company name showing in the SysCompanyChooser.

They are insisting we must have deployed something, but no changes were made so we feel it must be a setting. We are trying to find the cause of this.

Does anybody know how this was set and then how we can remove it.

This does not impact business except for the client being worried that something was installed that they did not sign off on. Please can you advise.

Hi,

This change based on .40 upgrade, check this thread Legal entity showing the name (dynamics.com)

You can disable it.

On System > Administration > Setup > Client performance options is a field that is called Enable legacy navigation bar. If this indicator is set to true then the Breadcrumbs (Path to the open form) will show and then the Company will show just the three letters, but if it is false then the Company name will show. This was introduced in the the latest update Installed product version : 10.0.40 (10.0.1935.29)Installed platform version : Update64 (7.0.7279.51)

Hi,

This is standard (no development was done) you can simply disable it by going to SysAdmin - setup- client performance options

Hi,

This is a new upgrade as Waed Ayyad mentioned in this post, if you turn on the enable legacy bar like others stated, this will go away.
