How do you configure default customer Invoice Template?

I'm just working on setting up a new legal entity and I'm wondering. Does anyone know how to configure default invoice templates on customer accounts? There's a field for it under invoice & delivery but I can't find a related entity or a place to set it as a default.

Hey,

You can create free text invoice templates that can include invoice lines, charges, an accounting distribution template, and ledger account information.

And assign a free text invoice template to a customer.

"A free text invoice is an invoice that is not attached to a sales order. A free text invoice contains a header and one or more lines for items or services that are not tracked in inventory. Use a free text invoice for sales that do not require a sales order, packing slip, and customer invoice. For example, you can use a free text invoice for a consulting fee or services fee, or for a miscellaneous fee for an event reimbursement."

The field that you mentioned gives you the possibility to define the invoice layout that you want for the customer. The project invoice without billing rules from the project management and accounting module.
