I have copied everything from our Production environment to a Sandbox environment. New updates have been done in the Sandbox environment and I want to test a live email to case creation using the same email being used in Production environment.
Can we use the same email ID for both Production and Sandbox environments?
Will cases be created in both environments?

In order for emails to go into D365 you'll need to setup a mailbox and connect it to a queue, as described in my article https://d365goddess.com/setup-mailbox-for-automatic-case-creation-in-unified-interface/
Mailboxes can't be pointed to 2 different environments so this would not work as you can see in below screenshot.
