'Print to screen' for reports missing data that then shows up upon printing to PDF or hard copy

Here is an interesting issue...

When Printing a SSRS report to screen, certain parts of a SINGLE text box don't show.  For example... When printing the customer's address, all is well except the City, ST, ZIP  are missing.  Once I print to hard copy or to PDF, the missing information is there and just as we want it.

What could be causing this?

If it is there in PDF, it will be carried over to printer as well. Sometimes AX report viewer do have some rendering issues. You may try by putting very minor change in the position of these textboxes to address rendering issue.

    Hope this helps you

    Hello bRradlyJames

Did you customized your Screen resolution in Windows settings for another value that 100% DPI.

In our case, changing the dpi values was hiding some fields in AX Client and in the reports.

If so, please reset DPI settings to 100%.

Hans-Peter - That was it.  Works perfectly with DPI at 100%.  Thanks!

    Hi Hans-Peter,

Is there any way to fix the issue without having to change the DPI to 100%?
