Table does not show in form.

I have a particular table that's it doesn't show in any form. This table was imported from AX 2012 R3. I created a form, include this table as a datasource and it does not show anything, not grid and not fields.

Any ideas what can i do?

Can you see the data in table browser?

Also, you didn't say anything about adding any control showing the data. Didn't you forget it?

Hi Matias,

What table is this? Is it a standard? If so, please provide the name. At least check the properties of the table. Is the Visible property set to 'No'?

Yes, I see the data in table browser.

I created a foo form. Just only used the table as a datasource with not any control.

Not only the data i can not see, also the fields and the labels of the columns of a grid if any of this items has as a datasource property this particular table.

Hi André, there is not a standard table. It's from a proyect that was migrated from AX 2012 R3. And the problem only happens with this table.

The Visible property is set to 'Yes'

Hi Matias,

If you only provided a datasource "with not any control" then it is logical that you don't see anything. You need to add controls like a grid and or field controls.

I got confused, I thought in filters. Sorry about that. the form has controls, I added a grid and a field.

As I said, it's rare that I can not see any control that is configured whith this datasource not only the data. But I see the controls in the preview in visual studio.

At first, you can see the table and properties. Then, the form with the datasource and grid properties. Also, show you the table browser. And finally, the preview form in visual and the application in internet explorer. Internet explorer doesn’t show anything, included the grid control (It's the problem). The problem is with this table in particular. If I provide this table as a datasource in any form, i have the same problem.

(I made another test, I used table provided as a datasource in a View, an that view as a datasource in a form. And now, i can see the grid. But is not the solution[quote user="André Arnaud de Calavon"]

How do you run the form? Directly from Visual Studio (F5)?

I did it both ways. Debugger and 'Regular'.
