Is there a way to check if the booking is updated from Booking form or schedule board?
I have tried using the 'depth' value to differentiate, but as a matter of fact the depth is 1 when I try to assign the booking to a different resource by drag and drop and 2 when I try to assign by right clicking on the booking and selecting 'Substitute Resource'.
I need to disable any update on booking from schedule board since mine is a custom booking type and has a one way relationship, i.e. an update on schedule board does not reflect in the actual booking form.
If you want to prohibit any drag&drop change on the board, what about creating a simple booking rule that displays an error whenever you update an existing booking? See here: docs.microsoft.com/.../set-up-booking-rules
What I have done in the past is create a field called 'offline booking change' as a datetime field and place it on the mobile form and hide it.
When ever there is a change on the booking I set the field to the current time.
Then when ever you see this field changed in the audit history then you can tell that the update was done from the mobile
