USD and CSW Coexistence with the same Dynamics instance

We are looking to migrate incrementally from USD to CSW. As a result, we will require USD and CSW to coexist in the Dynamics environment until all teams are migrated to CSW. 

What needs to be considered to ensure the successful migration of a team from USD to CSW while other teams remain on USD? 

Are there any additional actions that a developer needs to take to route an interaction to a team on CSW versus USD?
