How to send a document by email with additional attachments using Electronic reporting

Hello community members,

I am actually struggling to find a way to send additional file attachments by email with my purchase order confirmation.

These documents are actually sitting on the header of my purchase order in the document management.

Can someone please guide me on how to achieve this.

Thanks Amith for your response, but unfortunately does not answer my question.

The first solution is not an out of the box solution but Docentric related, and the second one is all about SSRS and not Electronic reporting.

Hi Ergun,

I did try this one also. For sure it does export the attachments in a zip file. But you can only run it from the Electronic reporting menu and not from the purchase or sales order. I've tried to include this piece of functionality in a standard purchase order report so that it sends the order confirmation together with all the attachments, and did not worked.

Sorry I don't know if its si possible(I don't think). Maybe you can try embed as image or xml

Hi Sidick,

There is a class SRSPrintDestinationSettingsDelegates, you can try to subscribe to toEmail delegate. Here you have main report bytes, report contract an object or SrsReportRunPrinter and param array.

You can get email contract from Report Data Contract class. check report name and then put your additional attachments and write your own logic to send email similar to toEmail method in SrsReportRunPrinter class.

Give that a try.
