a customer of ours wants to move their DC from SBS2011 to DC2019 and use it with their Dynamics 365 8.2 On-Premise on Windows 2012 R2 and Office 365 2019.
Although the 2019 Microsoft software line is nearly completly undocumented, I've already managed to establish, it won't be possible to use anything with Dynamics 8 (at least for some time), Office 2019 including.
Has anyone had experience with the (backwards) compatibility of the 2016 product line with Dynamics 365 8.2 On-Premise? Mostly information regarding coupling of Dynamics 8.2 with an Email router on Exchange Server 2016/2019, Windows Server DC 2016/2019, Outlook 2016/2019 Dynamics 365 Add-in. Any other information is welcome as well.
I don't know the whole infrastructure of my customer, so if any additional information would be needed, please let me know, I'll do my best to provide all needed info.
