Does Interactive Service Hub support custom hosted control?

Posted on by 15

Hi there!

I'm quite new to Dynamics 365 and wanted to get your assistance on something that might be a fairly basic question.

I know that USD supports custom hosted control. Does ISH support them too? Meaning, can I load my custom app URL on a side panel of ISH, the way I can load it in USD?

Will appreciate your answer and pointing me in the right direction.

    Hello,

I would keep an eye on the V2 of the Channel Integration Framework, planned for preview in October 2019 and GA for January 2020:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2019wave2/dynamics365-customer-service/channel-integration-framework-v2

More information on the Channel Integration Framework V1:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/developer/channel-integration-framework/channel-integration-framework

The Customer Service Hub (and the Unified Interface in general) supports this JavaScript method: Xrm.Panel, that opens a side panel loading a custom URL.
    It is documented here:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/model-driven-apps/clientapi/reference/xrm-panel
