Hi, I have a scenario that I want to apply.
I wonder if I can allow every specific user to see/display (in the main view) only his created Work Orders.
Means that I want the current user to see only work orders he created (in the main view).
Thank you in advance.
If you wanted to completely restrict access to the user's WOs, use the security role and only give read access to own records. If however you like to limit WOs in a specific view, use a filter like this:
Hi Mahmoud,
Set filter on the view make user just can’t see other user’s records in this view, but can read them in other views unless you set conditions on all views.
Maybe you can try to use security role to make the user who assigned the role just read their own records.
Go Settings > Security > User to click one user you need, then click ‘manage roles’ button to open one dialog, which can show what security role is assigned to the user.
Then go Settings > Security > Security Role to click one role you just view, change ‘Work Order’ entity read permission to user level.
And ensure that do same settings to all security role of the use, otherwise, the user can still see the records of other users.
Regards,
Leah Ju
