Hi to All,

I am facing this error in SSRS report when i try to select query .

First select class and click next when i click on next button this error occur.

The type 'VarString' is not supported as a return value

Can anyone please help me on this issue.

hi Piyush,

Same issue i have faced , in my case i was using a parameter in contract class that is of type String (str). when i had changed that str to any EDT , error resolved.

This RDP class which you are selecting seems to be customized one.

Please review your class logic if you have created any attribute method which returns a string

One more thing you may consider reviewing your temp table if any of the field in it is not having EDT specified

Please verify and update us with your findings
