The reconcile utilities is taking a long time to run. I have inactivated several customers but do not want to delete them at this time. Is there a way not exclude inactivate customers from the reconcile utilities run?

Hello USB,
Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, there is no built in option to exclude Inactive Customers from the Reconcile Utility, only restrictions for Customer ID, Customer Name, Class, Type, Sales Person ID, and Sales Territory.
These Range Filters can still be used though in your situation if you were to update all of the Customers that you have Inactivated to use the same Customer Class, and name it something like Z-Inactive. You could then set up a range to run Reconcile against all other classes, but exclude the new Inactive class from the Reconcile process.
To set up the new class, you can go to Microsoft Dynamics GP | Tools | Setup | Sales | Customer Class, and then create the new class in this window. Once created, you can then pull up the Inactive Customers in the Customer Maintenance window and change the Customer Class ID there.
Please let me know if that helps!
Thank you,
