Project Operations Lite

Hi, when I select what to include in my Quote Line, I have the options below.

But, I am just wondering where is the value of fee coming from?

Include time: time transactions/labor costs.

Include Expense: from the project

Include Fee: ?

Include Materials: from the Project.

    Hi Juan,

Here are few points related to Fees, its more to capture external expenses.

    - Fee doesn't have a Cost Actual created with it.

    - As PSA doesn't support subcontracting, the options are to either log incurred cost as a Journal entry like Alister has considered or by using expense entries.

    above points from @Antti

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for answering Ashish.

So, the "Fee" values/amount would only pull up a Journal entry manually created, right?

    Hi Juan,

Fee transactions historically have been a F&O transaction type. They are primarily used to charge additional revenue to a customer but have no underlying direct cost base. (E.g. Subscription fees, Admin charges, rent charges etc..).

As mentioned by C365Guy only one side of the transaction is created when you add to a project being "Un-billed" sale so all the system will do is capture the revenue amounts when posting.

P.s.  The  Fee "amounts" are free text so user can enter what they want. In Standard F&O PMA you can have recurring fixed fees, not sure if that is a roadmap item for Project Operations.
