I want to Apply a custom Watermark in a Text field in Dynamics 365. Is there any Out of the box feature or how I can do it with custom code?

I have the same question (0)

what do you mean for "custom Watermark in a Text field"?

can you write some example or a screenshot of the expected behavior?

    Hi,

You can add/customize Tooltip for your field by modifying the Description field value.

    Hello Ritam,

This is the limitations with the fields.

But you can update other property i.e. Description of an field that will be visible to user when they hover over the field.

Please refer below thread with the same requirement just like you.

    Thank you,

I was asking about something like this. We have a Out of the Box feature as Description but that comes only when we hover on the Display Name of the field . I wanted to know if we can do as the below image with some custom code.

that is called placeholder. Out of the box you can't set it, maybe it can be done with unsupported code, the supported way can be a PCF control but it is excessive for what you want to achieve.
