Hello,

I'm looking for a way to prevent users from adding products to quotes if total stock is less than or equal to 0 with a notification dialog or something similar.I'm open to using customizations using JS or plugin. I just need a pointer to where to customize this area.

You could use a real-time workflow to throw an error upon trying to create the line items from this dialog. It would run on the Quote Product table, and be set to run on real-time when a record is created. If the selected product has a stock = 0, then end workflow as canceled. This will prevent the Quote Product record from being created, and you can customize the message to say something to the user. (Using Real-Time Workflows to Show Error Messages)

Only downside is that it only runs when they try to actually create the records, not while they are actively using the Enhanced Experience to find products.

Another choice could be customizing the products system view so that only items with a stock > 0 are even available to choose?
