MPOS Star Micronics Receipt Printer

Has anyone had any luck setting up MPOS to print receipts using a Star Micronics OPOS receipt printer? Specifically the Star Micronics TSP100 for instance.

We have setup up dozens of terminals successfully using various models of EPSON printers and have had no problems configuring their OPOS settings, however, with the Star Micronics printer we can't seem to get past a slew of cryptic error messages whenever I receipt should printer. The Event Viewer provides little to no details about the nature of the error, just that printing fails.

Any chance this ever worked? Trying to configure star tsp100 and tsp650 printers and nothing works. Works fine with Epson printers however.
