How to create a prod-like UAT (sales/crm) system

Hi experts,

We are currently trying to figure out how to automatically migrate our data from the prod system to the new UAT system to create a prod-like environment, ... All we know is that the data migration can be done through a console program or as an integration service job. Are there any better options we can use? What is the best practice in 2021?

EDIT: Systems are on the AZURE platform

EDIT2: We found that answer     from 2019. It seems like this is the common way for on-premise BUT NOT for the Dynamics 365 cloud.

I have the same question (0)

You are correct.  That this the most common approach for on premise environments of D365.
