Advanced Find Related Entities

Posted on by 210

I wanted to validate that what I am seeing in our custom entities and their relationships is true and not just missing configuration.  Our requirement is to create a view that is a join of our ContractChange parent entity and two children entities Letter and Invoice.

We have the following relationship

(Primary)ContractChange 1:N Letter (Related Entity) - Searchable field is set to Yes

(Primary)ContractChange 1:N Invoice (Related Entity) - Searchable field is set to Yes

When looking at the advanced find and we want to query starting at the ContractChange so that we can pull in columns from both the Letter and Invoice.  Is this possible?  I know I can do this with FetchXML.

    RE: Advanced Find Related Entities

    Hi Diane,

It will work for searching in the Advanced find with Related entities but when you go for "Add Columns" you will only get N:1 related entities and not 1:N related entities.
